Du-Co Ceramics Company Establishes Annual Awards
Du- Co Ceramics Company has established annual awards through the American Ceramic Society in honor and memory of the late Reldon W. Cooper who co-founded Du-Co Ceramics in 1949. The Company sponsored a luncheon at the Material Science & Technology meeting held in Pittsburgh, PA in October 2012 to announce the establishment of the awards.
More information about the criteria for the awards can be found on the American Ceramic Society website at www.ceramics.org. The deadline for applications is April 1st with the awards being presented at the MS&T meeting held in the fall. The following awards are available:
– Du-Co Ceramics Scholarship
– Du-Co Young Professional Award
